Have you written the novel of your heart?  A non-fiction about your job, your last adventure?  Memoirs?  An autobiography?  Your grandmother's life story?  Would you like to see your hard work in book form without having to deal with the business of publishing?  The submissions.  The rejections.  The expense.  Perhaps all you want is to hold your book in your hands, show it to your family and friends, maybe have a few copies to give as gifts or to sell to your coworkers and clients.   You may have considered a vanity press, but you don't want to spend thousands of dollars for a 500 book print run that'll just end up stacked in your closet.  Have you investigated other book printers?  The setup and design fees alone probably crushed your dream of having your own book.

Could you be a published author?  Your book is coming out in three months, but you need ARCs (Advance Read/Review Copies) NOW.   Your publisher doesn't do ARCs.   Meanwhile, local radio and TV stations are interested in interviewing you, but they need to read your book first.   No way will you give them a manuscript the size of a phone book to lug around.  They wouldn't even want it.  

Or perhaps you're an author who's fed up with waiting for your agent to sell your book(s).  Or you're not having any luck finding an agent.  Or you're tired of all the rejects.  You want something to show for all those hours slaving over the keyboard.  If you self-publish the book, chances are traditional publishers won't buy it because it's considered published after it's issued an ISBN.  You just need a few books for the conference book sale or the neighborhood book club or...

What's an author to do?

We're a novelty small press producing books for authors who don't want to hassle with the publishing business.   The books we produce are not "published" books.  We don't get ISBNs assigned to them.  We hold no "rights" to your work.  You won't be told to "edit this" or "rewrite that. There are limitations:

1)  Word count must not exceed 120,000.

2)  Approximate finished book size is 8.25"x 5.25" (NO EXCEPTIONS)

3)  Maximum thickness is 1"  - about 450 pages.  (NO EXCEPTIONS)

4)  Illustrations or photos in the book will print in black and white.

Our TEN BOOK production package includes quality printing, cover art, and binding at an affordable price. 

1)  Pages are printed on quality 92-104 bright-white 20# paper.

2)  Cover is printed in COLOR on high gloss photo paper.   To see samples of covers we've produced click here.

3)  Cover is laminated to protect it.

3) Title and author name is printed on the spine.

4) Blurb printed on the back cover along with author photo - if supplied.

5) Book is permanently bound.

6) Includes author signature page, copyright page, author bio, and acknowledgments - if supplied.

What you need to submit:

1) Manuscript must be a single Microsoft Word .doc file.

2) You must be able to attach that file to an email to us.

3) Any photo(s) must be submitted in a high resolution .jpg or .bmp file.

4) You must attach the photo file to an email to us.

5)  Give us suggestions for the cover design.

6) Author bio under 100 words.  Type it in the body of the email or attach a separate .doc file.

7)  Blurb - under 100 words, again typed in the body of the email or attached.  

What's it going to cost?

1) Ten copies of your book =   $150.00

2) *Print setup fee =                        60.00

3) ** Cover design =                        60.00

4) ***Total =                                  $270.00

NOTE *:  If your book contains pictures, graphs, charts, text blocks, etc, setup is more time consuming.  In this case, plan to spend an additional $100.00.

NOTE **:  Using royalty-free photos, original art, graphics, text, etc.  No special artwork will be commissioned.  If you're interested in ARCs - the cover will be black on white, laminated with title and author name.  (and ISBN if requested and supplied).

NOTE ***  Plus Shipping.  Colorado residents add sales tax.

Payment options:  We prefer PayPal.  When your order is processed, we'll send you a private link to a Web page where you'll find a "Buy Now" button programmed for the amount you owe.  Simply click the button and follow the prompts.  We'll both be notified by email when the transaction is completed.

To pay by check, you'll send it to TWB Press, 1510 Kendall St.  Lakewood, CO 80214.  When it clears your bank, your book will go into production.
