What's it going to cost?

That's easy to figure:  90 cents a *page* and $20.00 for each 10,000 words.  (Maximum word count 120,000, please.)

Example #1: a 111,500 word, 529 page manuscript  is 111.5K divided by 10K = 11.15K times 20 = $223.00 + 529 pages x .90 =$476.10 = $699.10 ($223.00 + $476.10 = $699.10)

Example #2: a 69,700 word, 336 page manuscript is $139.40 + 302.40 = $441.80

* AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PAGES*:  In this business, a page is 8.5"x11" with 1" margins all around, double spaced, Courier New, 12 point font, ragged right margin.  In the header, type the title on the left, then a dash (-) and your name.  Insert page numbers in the upper right corner of the header.  Your submission to TWB Press must be formatted this way.  If you don't know how to change the format and font, thus making it impossible to calculate the cost of editing/critique, you may attach it to an email to us (at the link below) and we'll format it, then send it back with a quote for the service requested.  Fair enough?

** A NOTE ABOUT .doc FILES.  Microsoft Word is our preferred word processing software.  If you use a compatible software such as Word Perfect, we can import your submission into our program to work with it.  Upon completion, we'll export it to a Word Perfect file and send it back to you.  If for some reason you're using a non-compatible program and we can't work with it, we'll let you know right away and credit back any funds you may have paid for our services.
